Thank you Lee,I knew I wasn't the only crazy person here http://www.hostboard.com/forums/ j/k
Das, you allow yourself to be fooled by Tula because you want to.
As for "gender", human beings are not words that can be altered by lopping off an ending here and there.
XX= Woman
XY= Man
There are variations due to genetic and other fuckups, but not more than two SEXES. Note, NOT "genders".
I think you know which one I am referring to, don't you?
MA: Yeah, I wear tights sometimes, but that does not mean I want to be a woman.
I seem to recall several threads on this topic back on the last board.
*Shudders*
Yes, Donna. That was the one I was thinking of.
Is tanya the editors wife...very scary stuff..I had to vote for jezebel, it's just a west coast thang.

What are you implying?

Surely we cannot begin to understand or quantify
the confusion felt by people who consider them-
selves gender-challenged in some way, without first
experiencing this gender confusion for ourselves?
Would you disown a hitherto beloved parent or sibling
if they had a sex-change? And if so, on what grounds?

Genetic preconditioning, socially-programmed gender
identification, formative years' psychological
trauma (i.e., familial sexual abuse) and erroneous
biological states ('fuckups,' as you call them),
are not necessarily inter-related. They exist
individually, and are thus prone to autonomous,
independant evolution. If, by the age of say, 25,
all four have somehow converged and are literally
screaming out that something is wrong, then some-
thing probably is. Something was always 'wrong',
it just took that amount of time for the brain to
subconsciously decide that the individual was
consciously able to comes to terms with it.
But as you say, 'You enjoy wearing tights'. And you
occasionally wear make-up as well. You are well
aware of the inherent (western) socio-cultural
implications of enjoying such a behaviour, but you
go ahead and do it anyway. Why stop at tights and
mascara? Why not knickers and blusher? petticoats
and lipgloss? perfume and hairless armpits?

Probably, mate, but thank Zeus most of the erstwhile
Glitzine threads are inaccessible.

No, a person's SEX, not gender, is determined by their chromosomes. The biological fuckups would be someone with XXY or other conditions. Another would be certain conditions whereby a person is born genetically male, but their body does not respond to testosterone at puberty, rather to the small amout of estrogen present in every normal male. The Italian model Eva Robins is one, so s/he says.
As for being fooled by Tula, in certain settings Tula looks rather girlish and could easily fool most.
More anti-science romantic idealism bullshit, not again.
I don't believe in the continuum nonsense as expounded by trannies. They are screwwed up people, probably due to abuse in childhood, whether physically or emotionally. It doesn't change the fact they are what their chromosomes say they are.
I could dress any way I please and that wouldn't change a thing. Women just have more freedom in things like that. The nastiest, fattest, most stereotypical bulldyke could walk down the street without too much bovver if any. A straight man wearing a dress would get fagbashed.
I dye my hair, wear makeup, and heels, but I AM NOT TRYING TO PASS MYSELF OFF AS A WOMAN.
There was a gig the NYDolls played one time where they wanted to really wear dresses to parody the stupid ideas people had of them. The only one who wouldn't do it was Johnny. His excuse, people would think he was gay. Why that cracks me up I won't go into, but if I ever did don a dress, I would be a man in a dress who is obviously a man, not someone trying to impersonate women.
"Melissa" appears to be actually male.
As for the old GNet threads, don't go there. Ever.
Would you agree that heels, mascara and
tights, etc., is a mild form of transvestitism?
I see a huge gulf between Joe Schmoe the
bearded bus driver who gets his secret kicks
once a week by parading around the flat in
lipstick and high-heels, and the poor sod/
sodette who goes through the protracted
business of gender-reassignment. How pre-op
porn starlets fit into this lugubrious stratum,
I have no idea.
